What do you love/hate about being a lawyer?

Why did you get involved with KWAA?

I knew I wanted to open a law practice and I needed some connections so I would have a supportive network around me.

If you wrote a book about your career so far, what would you title it? Why?

Three Lefts Make a Right. My first year of law school I was quite certain I was in the wrong place. Upon graduating from law school I was certain I had made a horrible decision becoming an attorney. My employment after law school was not changing my mind. Once I opened my own practice I fully began to appreciate being a lawyer. I have the ability to run my office and make a living while practicing the areas of law that interest me.

What superpower would you choose for yourself?

Invisibility

Tell us about your kids, pets, or plants.

I have two daughters 9 and 3 who make life fun. We have two dogs, 1 Bassett and 1 Bassador. I love growing native flowers, annuals, perennials, and vegetables for myself, neighbors, pollinators, and my local wildlife (like the mouse I caught eating tomatoes).
