Aaron and Rachel Wilson’s Journey

This young couple came to us struggling to make it on their current salaries, with a young child, a home loan and monthly credit card debt. In addition to their current debt situation, their old farm home was in serious need of repairs – or it would no longer be livable.

Over the course of their 5-year Plan Payment they were able to put money into their home to pay down the mortgage and for necessary and wanted improvements. They were able to pay off their two car loans and debt owed on secured items from Nebraska Furniture Mart. This along with their discharged and unsecured debt, they tackled over $392,000.

On a personal note, their family grew by two during those 5-years and the Aaron accepted a managorial position with the city.
